Dr. Ilya Livshits is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and fibroid specialist with advanced fellowship training in vascular and interventional procedures. He currently practices as an Interventional Radiologist at University Radiology Group in New Jersey and serves as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Radiology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Livshits earned his Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was named Preliminary Intern of the Year. He subsequently completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Mount Sinai Hospital and fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Chicago. He maintains an active medical license in New Jersey and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

With extensive experience in minimally invasive image-guided therapies, Dr. Livshits is one of the first providers in the region to offer hypogastric nerve blocks for uterine fibroid embolization. This innovative approach provides superior intraprocedural and post-procedural pain control, improving patient comfort and recovery. His clinical and academic contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and leadership in radiology education, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient-centered care in interventional radiology.
