When you refer patients to University Radiology Vascular and Interventional Center, your patients benefit from the very same world-class interventional capabilities they would find at a leading academic hospital, but with the convenience of a patient-focused outpatient environment.

State-of-the-art equipment, skilled doctors and practitioners, and exceptional service combine to make the experience of visiting URVI unlike anything most patients have experienced. Here, you can expect fast, flexible consultation appointments and procedures scheduled in days (versus weeks or months). Most of our minimally invasive procedures are covered by private insurance plans and Medicare, and we will work with your patients and their insurance providers to make the process as easy and seamless as possible.

OBL physicians - vascular and interventional specialists

We are always available to consult with physicians—whether you have questions about a particular procedure, require clinical evidence, or wish to speak with us about the appropriateness of a procedure for one of your patients. As part of the University Radiology group, we have been a trusted partner to doctors and their patients throughout New Jersey for generations.

Out-of-town patients

If you are referring patients to us from out of town, we will do our very best to accommodate them. Even though most procedures will require only a few hours of their time, should they wish to remain in the area longer we can assist them with transportation, discounted hotel accommodations and more.

Clinical Support

We have compiled a series of documents below that include descriptions of the services we provide, along with clinically validated backing. In some cases, we have comparison forms that compare the pros and cons of interventional radiology procedures with the alternative treatments or surgeries that you may use to assist in clinical decision support with patients.
